New Rochelle Chamber Invites Thanksgiving Parade Participants

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 52nd annual Valenti Thanksgiving Day Parade from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 21.

The parade starts on North Avenue in front of New Rochelle High School (where the NR Fund will host a pancake breakfast from 8-9:30 a.m.) and ends at Main Street and Maple Avenue. The parade route heads south on North Avenue, turns right onto Main Street and passes Memorial Highway, where the bandstand will be.

Any person, group or business intending to participate in the parade should fill out the application by clicking here and mailing or faxing it back to the chamber office as soon as possible.

Float sponsorships and vehicle participation also are available. Rates are as follows:

Marching with your own banner – Free.
Having your vehicle in the parade – $500.
Borrowing a float – $750, plus a $250 deposit, which will be returned after the parade.
